QUALIFICATION STANDARDS (Minimum)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Political Science, or any related fields

Experience: none required but an advantage if any

Training: none required

Eligibility: CS Professional Eligibility or any Second level eligibility

Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an efficient document management system for the records of the Legal Unit in compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and the applicable guidelines, rules and regulations;
  • Schedule and facilitate the conduct of hearings, meetings, or investigations of the Unit;
  • Prepare legal documents, case digests, case briefers, draft opinions, and other legal processes, take minutes of the meetings attended which involve the unit or during hearings in place of TSN;
  • Track and monitor case status and communications of the unit;
  • Research on jurisprudence applicable to cases handled by the unit;
  • Prepare reports on consumer complaints, formal charges, and legal opinions;
  • Undertake other related works as may be assigned from time to time by the Unit Head/ DC.
