Position Title           :         Assistant Planning Officer

Status of Position    :         Contract of Service

Daily Rate               :         P 700.00

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS (Minimum)

Education:   Bachelor of Science in Economics or any four-year related courses

Experience: None required

Training:      None required

Eligibility:     None required

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Under the supervision and direction of the Planning Officer III

Assists in the following:                                                  

  1. Monitors the Development and progress of projects being implemented as scheduled;
  2. Monitors the performance accomplishments vis-a-vis targets and recommends actions to address gaps;
  3. Reviews the periodic accomplishment reports of the Regional Officers and Provincial Offices;
  4. Prepares accomplishment reports, annual reports, planning and assessment calendar;
  5. Prepares minutes of the meetings during Mancom and Planning meetings;
  6. Provides technical support in the conduct of Operational Planning, Mid-Year and Year-End Assemblies;
  7. Provides technical assistance to ensure submission of reports to external committees where DTI is a member or officer;
  8. Provides Technical assistance to ensure that relevant documents/ data needed by the Regional Director and Focal Persons are readily available during meetings; and Performs other related tasks to be assigned from time to time.
