Position Title: Product Development Specialist
Status of Position: Contract of Service
Monthly Salary: P 22,316.00

- Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:
-Under Product Development for Food & Non-Food
1. Assists in the conduct/facilitation of info session /seminars for MSME’s with topics related to product innovation, quality improvement, packaging and labelling designs;
2. Assist walk – in MSME’s in the Regional Office requesting for product development /improvement and advisory services, product critiquing (sensory evaluation/packaging and labelling assistance);
3. Prepare activity and product development monitoring reports (food and non-food sectors)
4. Prepare Project communications, press releases, narrative reports and other project related documents;
5. Render/draft illustrative designs/graphics;
6. Prepare creative graphic design and layout for various projects and activities of the unit;
7. Use digital illustration, photo editing software and lay out software to create designs;
8. Provide a range of professional graphic design and audio –visual and other related works;
9. Ensure compliance to corporate standards prescribed for graphic design, photography and multimedia production;
10. Able to develop and implement centralized databank system;
11. Provide advice on the purchase of hardware /software specific to the graphic design and visual imaging function;
12. Maintain competence in the operation of graphic design technology, visual imaging techniques and IT system to ensure high quality service delivery;
13. Perform such other functions that may be assigned from time to time; and,
14. Assist in the preparation of divisions AVPs/info materials.
-As IT Assistant
1. Lead in the implementation of the Preventive Maintenance at the unit;
2. Conduct inventory of Status of IT Hardware and software resources;
3. Administer ICT infrastructure (Information System, Server, Network);
4. Provide technical assistance and support to computer users within the unit;
5. Prepares promo collaterals, AVPs, lay out design.
6. Facilitate ICT related concerns;
7. Recommends relevant hardware/software applications;
8. Assists in the assessment of requirements for purchase of IT hardware and software
