6 November 2025 | The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2 actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill held on 6 November 2025 at the DTI Regional Office 2, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. This drill aimed to improve contingency planning, raise public awareness, and ensure that employees are well-prepared for real earthquake events.

23 October 2025 | The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2, through the initiative of the Human Resource Unit of the Administrative and Finance Management Division (AFMD), capacitated 33 DTI Region 2 employees across the region in the Project Management for Excellence: Driving Results in DTI Programs and Services training on 23 October 2025 via Zoom.

23 October 2025 | A milestone for the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2 as 16 newly appointed and promoted employees sworn to office. The Oath of Office and Oath of Civil Servants were administered by Regional Director Ma. Sofia G. Narag, CESO V on 23 October 2025 at the DTI Negosyo Center Hall, DTI Regional Office 2, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

10 October 2025 | The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2 conducted a capacity-building training aimed at enhancing employee engagement with stakeholders. The event was successfully held via Zoom, with participants from all five (5) Provincial Offices and five (5) Regional Divisions of DTI Region 2. The initiative was organized to help participants establish sustainable partnerships that support DTI’s developmental initiatives and promote collaboration with both internal and external partners to co-create impactful, responsive solutions.
